Fourth Floor and Roucan sign partnership deal

Leading games marketing agency links up with live events powerhouse to grow client offer

Fourth Floor and Roucan – two fast-growing creative businesses focused on the gaming sector have announced a new strategic alliance. By combining their services, the agencies can offer clients fully integrated marketing solutions across live events, influencer and social media marketing and video production.

Both businesses boast decades of experience in games marketing, events and media and have seen their respective businesses grow significantly over the past two years.

As well as working together on creative campaigns for clients, Fourth Floor will use its influencer marketing expertise and deep creator relationships to manage the influencer lounge at Roucan’s WASD event at the Truman Brewery from 25-27 April. 

Fourth Floor is a specialist games marketing agency focussed on building relationships between games, content creators and audiences through insight, data and creativity. 

Roucan, headed by games industry veterans David Lilley and Matt Styles, organises consumer, trade and commercial events, including the hugely popular WASD and London Dev Conference.

Established in 2017, Fourth Floor is a global agency with offices in London, Bristol, Stockholm and Toronto. The agency works with games publishers and developers to create campaigns that engage audiences and build emotional connections. Services include campaign planning and management, influencer marketing, and social ad buying and management, all driven by their proprietary Insight Engine technology. In 2022, Fourth Floor acquired Explosive Alan Productions to add creative video production to its services list. Fourth Floor’s clients include Square-Enix, EA, Activision-Blizzard, Ubisoft, Capcom, SEGA and more.

Roucan was founded in 2020, and is based in Bath. The events agency launched WASD in April 2022, a timeline that is now established. In the same venue in 2023 they followed up with London Developer Conference, both events now part of London Games Festival. They then launched a new event, WASD x IGN, in 2023. Services include event concept, production and management, along with sponsorship and commercial development. Roucan’s list of clients includes Devolver, SEGA, Plaion, Bandai Namco and many more.
